Problem
To bend track in a precise circle so seats on power cruisers can revolve 360 degrees, allowing guests to enjoy the view from horizon to horizon.
Solution
We used a rolling hydraulic bender to bend and cut the track to a repeatable radius and length. Ball bearing utility (linear motion) cars riding on an outer track allow the attached seat to be easily adjusted. A pinstop car controls seat position, moving utility cars smoothly along the track and locking into a new hole to provide guests with a different ocean view.
Utility cars are constructed of strong one-piece solid aluminum and are Hardkote anodized for strength and corrosion resistance. Lightweight aluminum track is also Hardkote anodized. Stainless steel wire guides keep ball bearings captive when the car is off the track, for easy installation and maintenance.
