Cable-Laying Blocks Harken Cable-Laying Blocks are being used by oceanographic research vessels to safely lead cable overboard and to deploy instruments. Because fiber-optic cable has a large end radius, Harken Cable-Laying Blocks have diameters to suit. The aluminum sideplates and Nylatron® selflubricating sheave materials are very lightweight and strong, optimizing cable tracking. |
