POWERSEAT – REVOLUTIONARY DEVICE FOR WORKING AT HEIGHT

The Harken Industrial PowerSeat has revolutionized working at height, allowing the operator to ascend effortlessly, stay in position longer, and work in greater comfort. With gasoline, battery and electric powered units, also available in ‘compact’ versions, these durable, portable, and certified systems enhance safety and reduce fatigue for users.

Harken Industrial PowerSeat® ascenders decrease the risk of operator injury when working, offering logistical gains in most areas of project delivery. The PowerSeat can be utilized as an ascender device for ascent/descent of operators, goods, and equipment. With quick setup in multiple orientations, it can reduce the equipment and man-hours for many projects.

The equipment is suitable for use in a range of industries, including: rescue, construction, renewable energy, telecoms, facilities management, architectural, vessel maintenance and utilities.

The PowerSeat is operated by a simple control which includes a panic setting, stopping ascent if gripped too tightly, with auto stop when released. The electric models have single-speed ascent, while the gas version is variable. Descent speed is controlled manually via the winch’s captive jaws, which ensure rope engagement at all times and default to locked when not manually operated, protecting from free fall.
